ACCOUNT MANAGER | Travel, Tourism, Lifestyle Agency

We are looking for an Account Manager with the desire and ability to work in the consumer lifestyle, travel, tourism sectors. Our client is a global independent agency (although this will be London based and can be fully remote if preferred) that offers clients the full spectrum of marketing comms and has teams of highly skilled experts across all the disciplines so plenty of career scope.

This agency has a breath taking list of consumer brands as clients that are globally recognised and will offer you the chance to work on big budget PR campaigns, partnerships and celebrity/influencer endorsements across lifestyle, travel, tourism, destinations, food, fashion.

We are looking for people who are creative but also have good writing skills and attention to detail.

The Role:

• Managing a range of international travel and tourism clients
• Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
• Coordinate of all public relations activities
• Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivate new media and stakeholder contacts
• Pitching to the media for editorial opportunities for clients and the business
• Content creation across all channels
• International press trip organisation and hosting
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and paid media
• Gain Influencer and Celebrity endorsement
• Manage a proactive press office function
• Attending and managing key industry PR events
• Arranging press conferences and other public appearances
• Working alongside the leadership team on new business pitches

Skills:

• Working at SAE level already and looking to step up to AM level
• Currently working across consumer lifestyle/travel/tourism clients
• Someone who excels in client relations and management
• Enjoy writing and producing content across multi channels
• Have a solid range of contacts across the media
• Strong client handling skills with desire and motivation to deliver beyond a brief
• Persuasive, creative writing ability
• Can challenge PR techniques beyond media relations
• Effective relationship building with journalists and wider media
• Interest in current affairs and understanding consumer trends
• Keen to develop new business skills/ developing pitches
• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
• Multi-tasking comes naturally to you
