SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER / ACCOUNT DIRECTOR | ESG, Sustainability Agency

A fantastic opportunity (either permanent or freelance) to be a part of a change focused, impact and sustainability team. This role would be working within a global agency environment, consulting clients in challenging and developing key messaging across the ESG space.

An opportunity to learn and share your skills, working as a part of tight knight, non-hierarchical team of passionate and dedicated individuals all with a shared interest in developing and enhancing knowledge that impact society today.

You will be a change and sustainability experienced professional who is looking to focus on issues that affect client change, environmental impact, and sustainable consumption. In addition to societal issues such as social isolation, sustainable supply chains and ESG performance.

The Role

• Contribute to and advise on the existing portfolio of clients (UK and global)
• Help and assist the team to support and grow demand for its expertise
• Manage day to day work with clients
• Support the leadership of this small team in the growth and development of sector account teams across the wider business
• Supporting client work in implementing ESG metrics to deliver change
• Utilise knowledge of sustainability reporting

Skills

• Some understanding of the use and application of ESG metrics and framework
• Strategic thinker, able to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly moving environment, curiosity and knowledge of the world we live in and the global media agenda
• Agency, big brand and/or institutional experience are highly desired for the role
• Some knowledge of individuals and businesses that are leading the sustainability and social agenda desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work quickly to tight deadlines.
• Well organised in project and budget management and the ability to develop pro-active and lasting client relationships.
