An excellent opportunity for an ambitious and experienced healthcare PR perhaps looking for that next step in terms of learning and progressing. It’s expected that you’ll have a good grounding in healthcare and or a desire to move into a specialist area of PR and communications that will shine a light in terms of the issues and complexities of this fast developing, highly newsworthy sector.

The role will include a good mix of both corporate and consumer PR and would be a great opportunity for someone looking to work across all related client programmes.

Ideally, you will have already worked at Account Executive or Senior Account Executive/Consultant level and are ready to make to move into a more responsible position.

THE ROLE

• Client relationship management, development of new ideas and PR activities, high level media and influencer relations and pro-active planning and financial reporting
• Responsibility for client programmes including planning, content creation, day-to-day media and influencer relations, measurement and reporting.
• Understand key competitor behaviour and demonstrate ways to counter such activities
• Lead and participate in the presentation of new and existing business pitches.
• Establish multiple relationships within client organisations including members of the PR and marketing teams and key spokespeople
• Expertise in all aspects of writing and development of effective materials and presentations
• Ensure delivery of client results while motivating, supporting and developing team members
• Provide team management that encourages, supports and develops team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility for managing successful healthcare programmes within a consultancy environment, either consumer or ethical
• Experience and ability in new business.
• Strong collaboration, team building and people management skills.
• Good client retention and relationship management capabilities.
• Motivated by a dynamic, growing, and opportunistic environment.
• Ability to think outside the box and deliver tangible value against client objectives.
• Crisis and issues management experience is desirable but not essential
• Ambition to help grow our practice with new clients, new initiatives, and more award worthy work.
