CAMPAIGNS & EVENT DIRECTOR | *needed now* Agency

Immediate need for a corporate / b2b PR Account Director to join the fast-growing team of this campaigning and issues focussed PR agency and deliver marketing and events campaigns for some of the UK’s most influential leaders and organisations. This is a permanent opportunity but could also be an FTC or temp to perm.

You will be joining the Creative Services division: a team of events, social media, content, and design specialists so will need a strong track record of managing high quality campaigns for clients spanning stakeholder engagement, event delivery, thought leadership, content creation and social media programmes.

You will be experienced at managing client relationships, project managing marketing programmes, developing creative proposals to respond to client briefs and leading internal teams.

The Role

• Campaign Planning and delivery – Event execution including conferences, debates, briefings, round tables and launches including attendance, stakeholder outreach, drafting content, securing and briefing speakers covering virtual, hybrid and onsite across the UK
• Project management – Multi-project management to tight deadlines, setting and maintaining timelines, hosting internal meetings and updating the client
• Develop new business proposals and upsell to existing clients – Support and participate in new business, including organic growth of your accounts where possible
• Team Management – leading, managing and motivating across a range of specialisms including events, design, and editorial
• Content/social media – Working closely with the editorial and design team to develop content strategies, copywriting and reviewing the work of editorial specialists for marketing materials including social copy, websites, newsletters, thought leadership and stakeholder outreach
• Client communications – client updates, reporting and maintaining the relationship

Candidate specification

• Experienced event manager within the PR/Comms environment or agency
• Highly organised and unflappable
• Multi-project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and processed driven
• An interest in working in a PR environment with clients across business sectors including enterprise, SME, tech, corporate sectors
• Appetite for knowledge – of clients and sectors to provide insight and advice
• Empathetic with an ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers
• A confident team player who can lead contributions in both client and internal meetings
• Existing network of events and supplier contacts
